Picnic with the 3rd graders

On Saturday October 19th the first, second, and third graders were all going on picnics.  Each grade was in separate places so the six of us girls divided and two of us went with each grade.  The teacher chose which girls they wanted.  The spunky teacher QQ chose me and Cynthia. It was a different experience for us because we don't know any of the third graders because we don't teach them.  So the kids were a little more hesitant to talk and play with us.  But once we started playing with them it was fun.  They LOVE their teacher QQ and she loves them.  She is an amazing teacher who truly cares for her kids.  We played some fun games.  This one that we are playing here is one person is blind folded and everyone else makes noise and we have to touch them.  We played a cool, popular Chinese game called the hen and the eagle.  One person was the eagle and they tried to get the hen and her chicks.  The other person was the hen and had to protect her chicks.  But the chicks all had to hold on to the persons shirt in front of them so they snaked around.  it was actually really fun!
