Bejing, here we come. Along with everyone else in china

This week is the national holiday for china, which means everyone gets a vacation! We are going to bejing because it takes so long to get there and this is our longest vacation. We left last night to head to gunagshou (only a 40 min drive in the fast train.) we then had to take the subway to our hostel. We waited in this line to get our subway passes.
We made our way down to the subway and it was packed full and was about to leave. We hurried and ran to get on it. Everyone in my group was on and I was stepping in when the doors started shutting. I yelled "ah! Guys!" And the door shut. Me and my group were separated. I was surrounded by so many people, but I was alone. They mouthed the words to me "stay there!" As the train was pulling away I quickly took a picture to capture the moment.
Within 10 minutes they came back for me and everything was fine!
After a little ride and a walk, we made it to our hostel. There was four people to each room, so me and Britta had to share a room with two random people. We were there first and were sleeping when two British girls walked in around midnight. When they climbed into bed they turned off the air conditioner. I immediately thought "no! It's going to be so hot!" So I decided I'd wait until they were asleep and then id turn it on. I fell asleep and woke up at 4:00 drenched in sweat. I climbed down from my bunk bed and turned on the ac. I kid you not, right after I got back in bed the British girl climbed down from her bed and turned it off. I just do not understand some people. So I grabbed our key and went to the other girls room. I knocked on the door for like five minutes. Finally, Miranda hesitantly opened the door. I spent the rest of the night cuddling with Amanda.
In the morning we left at 7:00. On the walk over to find a taxi a man pulled his pants down in front of us. He was just standing there with everything hanging out, staring at us. Oh china...
We made it to the train station and we have a 21 hour ride to bejing.
