Picnic With the 1st Graders

Saturday morning we had a picnic with the 1st graders.  We love the first graders, they are all so sweet to us. We had so much food and played a lot of games.  It was so cool to see the parents playing with the kids as well.
The first game we played was a game just like duck, duck, goose, but instead of talking you use an object and drop it behind the person.  We then played a game called the Eagle and Hen.  It was fun, but it stretches out your shirts haha.

After eating we decided to sit down and take a break.

 These cuties kept bugging me, so I showed them what's up.

This little boy completely stole my heart, I fell in love with him and his little dimples.  He came up to me and showed me a water bottle that had little grasshopper looking insects in it.  He and his dad had caught them.  After that, we were best friends. We crumpled up leaves together and took pictures together.

This is the whole group.  I have the little boy by me while his dad is standing in the back.  I also am holding up the bugs that him and his dad caught, they had to be in the picture.
