We were in charge of the haunted house which actually turned out quite well considering the material we had. We used ping pong tables to make the walls and draped curtains over some of the cracks. After we had it all made, we got to scare the kids and their parents while they went through. their faces were priceless! The best was seeing the trouble makers of the class cry. revenge! hehehe
This is inside the haunted house. I am sitting on the crawl space that people had to crawl through (although some parents did not)
After our Halloween party was over, we went to the Bond Halloween party where they fed us and then they put on a show. We were the second performance. We did Thriller and it was EPIC! I loved that feeling of being in front of tons of people and dancing.. I have missed that. (I taught my group the thriller dance from high school) sad thing is we didn't get it recorded. But that's ok. It was seriously the best thing ever! The rush was awesome. Some how we did end up getting these pictures from the performance though.
Our ending pose where Michael Jackson laughs.
After the performance we were all separated and assigned to different games. (by the way this is all out side of a huge mall) The game I was assigned to was pretty much like a piñata. but the piñatas were floating heads. I actually did not help with the game at all. I stood there and held up a poster with the rules of the game on it and posed for pictures. I can't count how many pictures were taken of me. It was so fun! After that we just walked around for a while. It was just me and my coordinator who wasn't dressed up. I was walking around like a zombie, staring at people. They were so scared! it was awesome! I has seriously been the best Halloween ever!
After we got home and showered our faces felt gross from all the face paint we had put on it so we decided to do some face masks!
Halloween was amazing here in China and I want to come back here just for Halloween again! Apparently Halloween is actually not a thing in China but since we are and international program we celebrate it. It's started to become more popular though! Even the mall decorated for it.
